Ghazala Choudhary

Ghazala Choudhary received her Bachelors in Social Studies from the University of Ottawa and her Bachelors with honours from Carleton University. She has also completed her Bachelors and Masters of Education at the University of Ottawa. She has been involved with Tarbiyah Learning since 2011, working as a teacher, department head and administrator for the school. She is currently on its board of directors and believes wholeheartedly in Tarbiyah’s vision and philosophy. Ghazala’s love of teaching began over 15 years ago, when she became heavily involved with the Muslim Youth of Ottawa and more specifically, when she began teaching at the Ottawa Islamic School. Following that, she moved to Windsor, Ontario where she also taught at An Noor School. She then moved to Doha, Qatar, where she homeschooled her two young children and taught kindergarten at a Canadian school in Doha. Ghazala’s dream is to open up schools overseas and provide quality education to children who really need it. She is also dedicated to the cause of cultural acceptance in the Ontario and Canadian school system. As such, she is working together with her brother, Asad, in offering and presenting the Muslim Mind workshop for educators and administrators in today’s schools and universities.
