Farheen Fatima

Farheen Fatima is a graduate of the City University of New York, where she earned her degree in Communications and Culture with honours. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Education degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. For the past 10 years, Farheen has taught at public, private and Islamic schools in New York City, Toronto and Kingston. She has experience working as an elementary educator, occasional teacher, Islamic studies teacher and a literacy instructor. She is currently working towards becoming a Reading Specialist. Farheen developed an interest in gaining a better understanding of her faith during her high school years. Since then, her pursuit for religious knowledge has continued to take her through numerous courses in the Islamic sciences with the aim of improving her spiritual connection with her Lord. She hopes to continue her lifelong goal of attaining spiritual and academic knowledge and working with young students to positively impact their lives.

Farheen is an Ontario Certified Teacher and will be grade 3/4 homeroom teacher at Tarbiyah Learning.
